Main Street Zionsville Hosts 'Mingle on Main' to Celebrate Food, Fun and Local Flavor
Main Street Zionsville, a nonprofit established in Spring 2025, hosted its first Mingle on Main, a vibrant new community event designed to bring people together in the heart of Zionsville’s historic downtown, on June 17.
This festive gatherings showcased the town’s charm while highlighting the newly established Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), allowing guests to enjoy local beverages as they stroll and socialize.
Future Mingle on Main events on July 15, August 19 and September 16 will again transform Main Street into an open-air experience featuring community dining, family-friendly fun and extended hours for local shops and eateries. Attendees can purchase refreshments from participating restaurants and enjoy them throughout the designated area, promoting both social connection and local commerce.
“This event is a shining example of how Main Street can be both a cultural hub and an economic driver,” said Jason Plunkett, Zionsville Town Council President. “By activating our public spaces and supporting our small businesses, we’re investing in the long-term vitality of Zionsville. Events like Mingle on Main strengthen our economy while reinforcing the sense of place that makes our town so unique.”
The initiative aligns with Main Street Zionsville’s mission to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive Main Street area through strategic partnerships and engaging events. “By celebrating community and supporting local enterprise, Mingle on Main serves as a great foundation for future events and continued economic vitality in the district,” said Main Street Zionsville President Erica Carpenter.
